Autumn is a great time of year to explore the mountains. The weather is mild, the colours of the forests and the distant views of the peaks breathtaking. The ideal climate for sporting activities. Hiking, biking, golfing and relaxing in the Leonarium afterwards. Everything is still possible.

In keeping with our motto, live free, enjoy a longer snack on the alpine pasture or descend into the valley to enjoy the autumnal cuisine at the Löwen, where traditional game and mushroom dishes, pumpkin soup or cranberry dumplings make their way in.
From the end of August to November it's farmer's autumn time in Salzburger Land. An enjoyable holiday season where we celebrate the fruits of nature at harvest time in our regional cuisine. Every Friday we cook our farmer's autumn menu at the Hotel Löwe. Accompanied by a freshly tapped Helles from the wooden barrel. That can't be missed!
