History of the Loewe
"My grandfather was a master shoemaker and my grandmother an innkeeper. My father then expanded the inn to a village hotel and was one of the mountain railway pioneers in Leogang. With a lot of heart, passion and inner conviction, it is part of our family tradition to entertain guests. Thus, over time, many friendships have developed with regular guests, for whom the lion has become your second home. What could be better!" (Rupert Madreiter)

Our priorities
What to expect
- We are a family hotel, but not a children's hotel. We do not have a miniclub or an all-day program. When we go on vacation with our children, we want to spend as much time as possible with them. In nature, in the mountains or just playing board games.
- In the restaurant: honest, homemade, enjoyable food. We do not use convenience. Enjoyment but no all-inclusive. No overloaded buffets, but quality & freshness.
- Our guests: couples, families, single travelers, friends, smaller seminars
- We don't organize animation. However, it often happens spontaneously that we go hiking, biking, golfing, skiing or visit a distillery together with our guests.
- In our Adults only SPA Leonarium we pamper you with individual wellness treatments. Our highly trained therapists ask and feel how you feel and what you need at that moment.
