The Schanteilift (directly behind the hotel) in the center of Leogang guarantees extra high fun factor for the whole family. Whether big or small, skiing at night puts a smile on everyone's face. 3 times a week (Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays) from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. you can ski or toboggan by floodlight directly behind the hotel.

During the day the ski lift is open daily. The Ski Alpin Card is valid or you buy a cheap Schanteilift ticket.

Experience the joy of movement and a new activity in winter. The cross-country trails in the Saalfelden Leogang and Hochfilzen region are perfectly groomed.

Together with state-certified mountain and ski guides you have the opportunity to get to know the most beautiful peaks and deep snow slopes.

Perfectly suited for beginners, mountain and ski guide Georg Oberlechner offers a ski touring course for beginners every Tuesday from 1.00 p.m. at the Schanteilift. During a guided tour as an introduction to ski touring, Georg will give you valuable tips and tricks on equipment, safety and the correct ascent and descent technique.

Free of charge for guests of Hotel Der Löwe with Saalfelden Leogang Card - ski touring equipment must be available or can be rented at the local ski rental.

For advanced touring enthusiasts, the touring evening takes place every Tuesday and Friday between 6.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. on the Steinberg piste (211 and 212). For touring enthusiasts this is probably the highlight of their stay.
