Our history is shaped by passionate hospitality. As a family business, we rely on over 100 years of experience and a rare sense of authenticity. Our gourmet hotel is a place for authentic experiences and moments with loved ones – from romantic to active to intimate. In keeping with our "live free" philosophy, a stay at our hotel is relaxed.
We asked ourselves how we would most like to spend our vacation. And the answer was clear: free from stress, free from constraints, and simply enjoying ourselves. We are a place for moments of freedom – full of movement – full of peace – full of relaxation. Holiday happiness is something very individual. With us, every guest has the opportunity to tailor their well-deserved break to their needs – from food and wellness to activities.
Small & fine
With only 45 rooms, our hotel is small but perfectly formed. Feeling at home without having to worry about a thing. That's what our guests find with us and what our regulars appreciate about us. We know each individual guest and their individual needs. For us, this highly personalized service is part of our philosophy and our identity.
Rewarding us with familiar faces who repeatedly entrust their vacations with us is rewarding. Our employees also value us as their second home. We're delighted, because they are the ones who make our hotel what it is.
Close to home and nature
Down-to-earth and rooted in the region, we value our very special location amidst the Leogang mountains. Our guests also love hiking directly from the hotel to the most beautiful peaks, exploring The Epic Bike Park, or hitting the ski slopes. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, you can feel close to nature in our panoramic sauna or in the Steinberg pool, heated year-round with geothermal energy.
Our connection to nature is reflected not only in the Adults-Only SPA Leonarium, but throughout the entire hotel. It is constructed from high-quality, timeless, and regional materials. Our rooms also feature plenty of wood and natural elements, and our Löwengartl (Lion Garden) contributes to biodiversity as a natural garden. Regional and fresh
Those seeking true indulgence are in particularly good hands with us. We offer select quality and incomparable freshness. Nature and the small businesses in the surrounding area gift us with true treasures every day. These can be found in the lovingly prepared breakfast buffet and in our Alpine gourmet cuisine. We maintain direct contact with local suppliers and know where the products come from – some of which come from our own hotel garden. What's more, everything we serve is homemade, from soup and pasta to dessert and cake. This is a matter of course for us, and one that many guests greatly appreciate.

We consciously focus on the essentials and, above all, are a place for carefree, shared time. Far from everyday life, a vacation day can offer so much. We ensure that guests don't have to worry or care about anything. Surrounded by untouched nature, a relaxed sense of freedom sets in.
