Sensory Park at Asitz
The sensory park at the Asitz mid-station is easily accessible by cable car. (Our hotel guests receive the Saalfelden Leogang Card free of charge, which allows them to use the cable car twice a day.) The sensory park is open until October 20, 2024. The adventure park offers families fun at over 30 stations that appeal to all the senses: hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, and touching. On the barefoot path, you can feel and touch different surfaces, hear the sounds of the forest, or taste a freshly baked flatbread.

Along the herb and alpine plant trail, you can smell regional medicinal plants, shrubs, and flowers. At the "Giant Hand" station, you can touch and feel things: The 2-meter-high wooden hand contains various materials, such as wood and metal, for you to discover. These and many other objects, ranging from rough to soft, are hidden within the large hand. The station at the scented tree entices with its delicate aroma. A large playground with climbing and balancing equipment will delight every child.

How do you motivate children to hike? It's easy: With the fun hiking trail in Leogang! Along the trail, which begins above the mountain station at 1,757 meters, there are many stations that invite them to climb, balance, and let off steam. Adults can enjoy a beautiful circular hike that leads to the summit of the Grosser Asitz at 1,914 meters and to the nature cinema on the Sonnkogel with its magnificent view. At each station, there's a board with a quiz question. Once the quiz is solved, there's a great surprise. Total walking time: approximately 2 hours.

The Steinalm in Saalfelden is idyllically situated at 1,268 m above sea level in the Steinenes Meer (Steinen Sea) and can be reached in about a 1.5-minute walk through forests and lush alpine meadows. A stunning view, homemade Pinzgau dishes, a petting zoo, a children's playground, and a children's adventure trail ensure that boredom is never a problem, and the hike is also manageable for children.

Löwen guests can play free of charge on the three clay tennis courts at the Sonnrain leisure complex in Leogang (just 300 meters from the hotel). Bookings are easily made online through the hotel reception. Tennis rackets and balls can be borrowed free of charge.
